The 2000 is at its optimum with rich, complex flavors; and that extra time in the bottle has made it oh so easy to drink. Produced from the Thompson Vineyard in Los Alamos,  the wine is 100 percent varietal. There is an intensity with fruit reminiscent of ripe blackberries, blueberries and spice supported by a toasty vanilla component.

The 2000 has an intriguing dusty, earthy character reminiscent of older French wines.
