This is creamy, silky Chardonnay with flavors of apple, citrus, and a touch of nutmeg and vanilla from the oak. The fruit was sourced from local vineyards including Los Alamos. The grapes were carefully handpicked and sorted in the vineyard. After harvesting, the grapes are whole cluster pressed, and juice is quickly settled and chilled to begin barrel fermentation. Malo-lactic fermentation was completed and the wine aged in somewhat neutral French oak barrels for about 12 months. It is a food friendly Chardonnay that is refined and subtle. $45.00
