This a deeply colored Syrah that demands your attention. 2021 was an outstanding, balanced vintage, with great weather during the growing season. Sourced from a few local vineyards, the wine is mostly Syrah with just a touch of Grenache thrown in. The various lots were fermented separately in small open top fermenters with manual punch downs twice daily. Aging was done in mostly neutral French oak barrels for about 12 months before bottling. The wine has gobs of crushed berry fruit with a distinct spice character. The acid is bright but will soften with time. Enjoy with barbecued ribs and oak grilled pork chops. $45.00
