PURCHASING:

Wine purchases can be sold and delivered only to adults at least 21 years of age. All wine shipments must be signed for by an adult upon delivery and the person receiving delivery will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old. Wine shipments cannot be left without an adult signature.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All wines are sold in California and title passes to buyer in California.  We make no representation as to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside of California. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of alcoholic beverage products. By placing an order with us, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you.

GOVERNMENT WARNING: (1) ACCORDING TO THE SURGEON GENERAL, WOMEN SHOULD NOT DRINK ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES DURING PREGNANCY BECAUSE OF THE RISK OF BIRTH DEFECTS. (2) CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IMPAIRS YOUR ABILITY TO DRIVE A CAR OR OPERATE MACHINERY, AND MAY CAUSE HEALTH PROBLEMS.

SHIPPING:

Wines are shipped via GSO in California & Arizona only. Packages usually arrive within 2 days. All other packages are shipped UPS Ground unless otherwise requested. Arrival is between 2-5 days depending on your location. 2^nd Day UPS Express is recommended if extreme hot or cold weather prevails. For other services please call. Shipments are sent the first part of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) to ensure the package does not sit over the weekend in an uncontrolled environment before delivery. We will ship Thursday and Friday by special request. Please call tasting room for details at 805-344-2107. Since all wine shipments must be signed for by an adult upon delivery, we recommend a business shipping address whenever possible. You are responsible for notifying us of any address change before the wine is shipped. Bedford Winery will not be responsible for extra charges incurred due to misdirected wine. Shipments cannot be delivered to Post Office Boxes.

States where we are allowed to ship wine are:  AK, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, MD, MI, MO, MT, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, SC, TX, VA, WA, WI, WV, WY.   The laws for shipping wine out-of-state change frequently, so if you don’t see the state listed you would like to ship to, please contact us for the latest update. For shipments to Alaska and Hawaii, please call for rates. All non-wine items can be shipped to any state.
