2010 Grenache Santa Barbara County

Bedford-2010Grenache-200We consistently produce an uncharacteristically well concentrated, rich, ruby red Grenache that earns its own bottling every year. An 38 month stay in French oak barrels, 25% new, tones the fruit character creating a wine of strength and grace. It is very aromatic with a fragrant, spicy nose of ripe raspberries, plums, candied dark cherries, clove, rose hip, mint tea, and an earthy spice that carries through to the palate. A mosaic of tannins supports the fruit and creates a supple, full body and lingering finish.  Pair this wine with grilled and roasted meats, mushrooms, and dark fowl such as duck – flavors that harmonize with the earthiness of the wine. Magnums only (1.5L): $100.00 (very limited)
